My name is Kristina Benter and I am a Licensed Addiction Counselor. I facilitate inpatient groups at Compass Point, conduct evaluations, as well as many other things. I believe in making addiction treatment educational as well as fun and have been putting the glue and glitter back into therapeutic groups for over 18 years. I am very passionate about my career in the field of Addiction. Along with an LAC from the State of South Dakota, I am also a Certified Sandtray Therapist, bringing a creative new component to the treatment of Substance Use Disorders (and giving me an excuse to fill my workspace with toys). When I am not in the office, I enjoy spending time with family, art in any form, and long walks to her couch for naps.
