My name is Candy Bieber and I am the Office Administrator for the Sturgis Office. I have been employed here since January, 2022. I started in the Inpatient facility and worked my way into my current position. I am a certified Medical Technician and I have over 40 years of customer service experience.
I grew up on a ranch about 45 miles east of Sturgis. I went to a one room country school through the eighth grade, then I attended and graduated from Sturgis Brown High School. I have lived in Sturgis most of my life and I love to deeply connect with the community. I am proud to say that I love where I live. The thing I love most about my job is being able to help the clients who walk through the doors when they are at rock bottom. I have seen both tragedy and success and I celebrate the successes. I always keep a positive attitude and have a smile on my face. My coworkers are so supportive of each other and we always have each other’s best interests in mind. We can be serious when we need to, but there always seems to be laughter.
I enjoy camping, fishing and being in the outdoors. I love to cook, especially for my family and friends. I also love reading and listening to music. I believe music connects everyone no matter their circumstances.
I think something that not many people know about me is that I used to be part of the Sturgis Search and Rescue and I love storm chasing.
