October is Substance Use Prevention Month

This October, Compass Point Treatment Center is bringing local businesses together for a community-wide “We Support Prevention” campaign in recognition of Substance Use Prevention Month.

Prevention is something we can all be a part of. It starts with conversations, connection, education, and creating communities where people feel supported and have access to healthy choices and resources.

As part of our October campaign, Compass Point is inviting local businesses and organizations to become We Support Prevention Partners.

How Can Businesses Participate?

It’s simple!

Participating businesses will receive a “We Support Prevention” window sticker to display at their business throughout October. By placing the sticker in your window, you are showing your customers, employees, families, and community that your business supports prevention and believes in building a healthier community.

And we want to celebrate you!

Throughout October, Compass Point will be highlighting participating businesses on our social media pages and thanking them for helping us spread the message that prevention is everyone’s business.

Substance use prevention isn’t just about preventing substance use. It’s about strengthening the things that help people thrive—strong families, positive relationships, supportive communities, healthy coping skills, education, and opportunities for connection.
